This is a very preliminary release of Wami. (Binaries updated on 7/7 with some bugfixes)
Copy wamisetup.cab to your mobile phone and open it from there. It installs RouteLogger.exe and wami.exe to the Program Files directory, under the wami subdirectory. RouteLogger records all location changes, along with the time interval between the current and the last location change. The changes are logged to a file with the name Route dd-MM-yy hh-mm-ss (i.e., a file with the current timestamp, prefixed by "Route') and is saved in the root directory of your mobile phone.
RouteEditor.zip has RouteEditor.exe, a WinForms application that runs on the PC, that takes the log file generated by RouteLogger as input and allows you to edit and arrange locations into well known location groups. You can save the resulting output to a route file, which you will then need to copy to \Application Data\wami\Routes on your mobile phone.
wami.exe, that runs on your mobile phone, then loads the appropriate route file based on your selection and shows ETA at destination, at all defined location groups and the current location and location group, all determined by the location broadcast by your cellphone provider.
PS : To turn on cell broadcast, click Start->Settings->Phone->Channels-. Check both the Enable Channels checkbox and the Receive Channel List checkbox. Click Menu->Edit Channels->Menu->Add. The channel number varies, depending on the service provider, but 50 usually works fine, atleast in South India.
